01 / THE PURPOSE
Different light.
One controlled view.
A mineral that appears quiet at 365 nm may respond strongly at 310, 275 or 254 nm. Visus Theca began with the need to compare those responses without treating hazardous shortwave ultraviolet as an ordinary display light.
The concept combines wavelength selection, dark observation, visible-light inspection and safety-led containment in one purpose-built cabinet.
02 / PROPOSED SPECTRUM
Four bands.

A middle excitation region that can reveal responses missed at 365 nm.
An exploratory deeper-UV band, subject to source, optical and safety validation.
The classic shortwave condition for minerals such as willemite—requiring strict containment.
The wavelength set is a development direction, not a confirmed production specification. Source bandwidth, irradiance, filters, thermal behaviour and viewing materials remain to be tested.
03 / SAFETY ARCHITECTURE

UVC can injure eyes and skin. The central design principle is that safe operation should not depend on the user simply remembering to look away.
